Founding Member
Bill Farhat, Esq.
Bill Farhat is the Founding Member of The Farhat Law Firm, where he has established a reputation as a fearless advocate for his clients. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University in 2014, an education that equipped him with a deep understanding of human behavior and enhanced his ability to connect with clients, jurors, and judges. In 2017, Bill earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and was admitted to the Michigan Bar the same year.
Bill began his legal journey as a Criminal Defense Attorney where he gained invaluable experience advocating on behalf of clients in arraignments, preliminary examinations, pre-trial motions, plea negotiations, sentencing, and probation violations. His early work in criminal defense honed his ability to develop effective strategies and resolve cases in his clients’ best interests.
Bill then joined a well-respected law firm where he dedicated himself to personal injury law. Over the span of nearly a decade, he managed a high-volume caseload and became known for his aggressive representation of clients injured in motor vehicle accidents. His relentless pursuit of justice and skillful negotiation led to favorable outcomes in numerous first- and third-party motor vehicle actions. Bill was recognized as a Michigan Rising Star by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers for four consecutive years (2021-2024), an honor awarded to the top 5% of attorneys in the state.
In 2024, Bill founded The Farhat Law Firm to continue his mission of providing results-driven legal services. His practice areas include personal injury, family law, traffic offenses, criminal defense, business litigation, and employment law. As a tenacious litigator with a results-oriented approach, Bill ensures his clients’ matters are resolved efficiently and effectively, whether in negotiation or at trial.
